Edupoint Provides Customization Support to the Baltimore City Public School System (BCPSS)

Edupoint Educational Systems, the original designer and developer of the SASIxp* Student Information System, has been contracted by the Baltimore City Public School System (BCPSS) to provide support for their SASIxp installation. Edupoint will provide the district with custom reports and configure their SASIxp database to communicate successfully with external databases as necessary.

Edupoint's experience in the K-12 industry makes them uniquely suited to provide BCPSS with SASIxp customization support. The company's key personnel have worked directly with Information Technology (IT) departments at numerous school districts, providing custom programming and reports that successfully tailor the SASIxp product to each district's individual requirements. In addition, they have worked for the past four years maintaining and enhancing the core technology of SASIxp under contract to NCS Pearson. Responsibilities under this contract included the development of ancillary applications for SASIxp, such as ParentCONNECTxp*, as well as modification of the SASIxp database so that it now performs successfully with Oracle* and Microsoft* SQL Server products.
